FAQs

Pick a class! we have classes that offer yoga and other types of fitness classes but all are designed to be accessible to beginners and challenging enough for seasoned yogis! We will modify poses or exercises to address any need, just please give us a heads up before class begins or when you feel comfortable doing it (an email or text works too!)

Every class is taught in our infrared-heated studios, where radiant heat helps warm your body more directly than traditional hot air. We heat to a max of 82 degrees so you will feel warm without being overly sweaty and becoming a hazard to yourself on a slippery mat. Traditional hot yoga heats to 106 degrees, but this isn't necessary with infrared heat.
Infrared heat helps prepare your body for movement by warming your muscles comfortably and encouraging circulation, creating the ideal environment healing and muscle recovery. You don't get this bonus with regular heated yoga studios. They claim to promote lymphatic drainage and toxin release, which you will get anyway with the movement of yoga. The added high heat of traditional hot yoga can be dangerous to certain individuals with high blood pressure or cardiovascular issues, whereas infrared keeps the heat at a safe level and encourages healing. You will leave healthier and restored but not in sweat drenched state!
Yes, and we have filtered water always available at the studio, just bring a canister to refill.
About 82 degrees, but infrared heat is not like conventional heat. Turning it up doesn't mean added benefits... but it doesn't in traditional hot yoga either. You will get added benefits just by having the infrared panels turned on regardless of the temperature. There is a law of diminishing returns with hot yoga and one is slipping and falling on a sweaty mat when the heat is too darn high!
We offer a full schedule of varied styles of yoga (restorative, slow flow, hatha vinyasa and power yoga) also hybrid yoga classes that add barre, pilates and strength trainging to the mix
Mat, Water- water is free, mats are available for purchase, proceeds go to local charities that will change periodically.
We like to keep class size on the smaller size to accomodate personal needs as they arrise and to have the space to move freely. Please reserve in advance to guarantee your spot!
